Thank you for choosing Virtuoso Resumes, and congratulations on your decision to take this important step in your career. We appreciate your trust, so please take a moment and read through our terms. These terms will govern our working relationship, so it’s important you know what to expect!

Just so you know: Payment of the invoice will be treated as your agreement to these terms and conditions.
Services
What’s Included: Included in our Service Fee is: (1) in-depth Client Interview (plan on talking 1-2 hours), (2) unlimited revisions while we go through editing, and, (3) final career documents in MS Word, PDF, and text. At no added charge, we also include a short list of “rules” to help guide your online job search.
What’s Not Included: A job! Sorry, but no promise or guarantee of any job or end employment is made or implied under the terms of this contract. (Though we are very good at what we do and are confident that you will see results.)
Your Responsibility
Service Fee: The Service Fee will be quoted to you by email or during the free consultation. We ask for a nonrefundable deposit of half (50%) the Service Fee for the agreed upon services within 24 hours of scheduling the first meeting (in other words, the Client Interview), unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment may be made online via PayPal, by phone, check, or Venmo/Zelle. This deposit is required to secure our time and is due after we schedule your appointment and before the date of the Client Interview.
Final Payment: You do not submit the final payment until you’ve seen the first draft and verified that we’re headed in the right direction. Once you confirm, we’ll send out the final invoice and we can move through the editing process. Final payment (in other words, the balance of the Service Fee) is due upon receipt of the final invoice. A Word (editable) document will not be sent to you until final payment is made.
As the client, you agree to provide us feedback within three (3) days of sending the initial draft. If, after three contact attempts, you do not respond to Virtuoso Resumes, we will send the final invoice for the remainder of our services.
Miscellaneous Items (The stuff our lawyer made us add!)
Privacy: Confidentiality and privacy are important to us. No information about our work together or the information you share will be disclosed with clients, your referrals, or the general public.
Disputes: We are an Arizona-based company. Therefore, all disputes will be brought in the State of Arizona, County of Maricopa and decided under the laws of the State of Arizona.
Late Fees: While we don’t anticipate doing so, we reserve the right to charge up to 10% per annum interest on accounts over 30 days past due.
Attorneys’ Fees: In the event that there is any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or to the interpretation, breach or enforcement thereof, and any action or proceeding is commenced to enforce the provisions of this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to a reasonable attorney’s fee, costs and expenses.
Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties relative to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all proposals, written or oral, and all other communications between the parties relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement may be modified, amended or rescinded only by a written agreement executed by both parties.
No Refunds: We do not issue refunds, but if something comes up on the day of your appointment, we are more than happy to reschedule to a time that works for all of us. If you are unhappy with the first draft, we will make every effort to address your concerns. This is a highly collaborative process and your feedback is a very important part of our process.
Thank you for choosing Virtuoso!
